      <title>Not Second Class</title>
      <description><![CDATA[<p>I’ve been practicing psychiatry for 30 years and have worked in every type of setting in this field. I feel that people with mental illnesses have been treated differently than those that have other non mental physical illnesses. Even people with other brain conditions such as MS, stroke and tumor afflictions, get better treatment and understanding. What is it about mental illnesses that have created this situation? Why do we look at these people with a different lens?</p>
